I was just about to turn 50. A painful shoulder injury that had thwarted my goal of 10 years to be able to swim 20 laps (1 km) of our local pool for regular exercise was just something that I could never seem to reach.
It was then that Peter's book fell into my hands. I found it so inspirational that I decided to read 3 memos per day in Good Things Don't Come To Those Who Wait. Peter's coaching (through the book) gave me the confidence, courage and strategy to re-assess this goal and get back into the pool. Although it was very slow and painful at first, I kept at it.
What I was reading daily kept me going, but also GROWING on the inside! The self-limiting concepts that kept me stifled and stunted began to fall away. After just 5 weeks I was swimming 50 laps (2.5 kms). And after only 2 months my shoulder is completely healed and my vision for my whole life has radically enlarged. This book has really helped to turn my life around. Thank you Peter.
